In recent years, the Institute of Laser Spectroscopy at Shanxi University has conducted extensive academic exchanges and established academic contacts such as mutual visits and collaborative research with well-known domestic and foreign research institutions. Researchers have visited various research institutions in the United States, including NIST, Harvard University, Rice University, University of Maryland, Hopkins University, National Center for Science in France, University of Durham in the UK, University of Heidelberg in Germany, University of Leiden in the Netherlands, University of Leuven in Belgium, Japan University of Electrical and Telecommunications, and Taiwan Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences for academic exchange and collaborative research. The research institute hosted the Autumn Conference of the Chinese Physical Society in 2004. In December 2006, the Beijing Jin Laser Youth Scientists Academic Forum was held. In August 2010, the 5th Asian Symposium on Quantum Information Science. In December 2011, the third Central Six Provinces Photonics Science Development Forum was hosted. In July 2013, the 5th National Optical Youth Academic Forum was hosted. In October 2014, we hosted the 17th Laser Science Seminar. The second Rydberg Atomic and Molecular Academic Symposium was held in August 2017, and the first Youth Forum on Laser Spectroscopy Technology was hosted in October 2017; In October 2017, we hosted the 5th Quantum Simulation Seminar. In 2019, I hosted a Quantum Science and Technology seminar. In June 2020, we jointly organized a workshop on "time/spatial resolved investment on nanomaterials for optoelectronics and energy" with Nanjing University and Longde University. In September 2020, we hosted the 5th National Conference on Environmental Optics and the 2020 Academic Annual Meeting of the Environmental Optics Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Society.
